The Old Mineral Line Trail

The former railway from Dinnington to Thurcroft was officially inaugurated as the latest part of the National Cycle Network on 22 September, 2006.

The greenway, is suitable for walkers, cyclists and horse riders as well as those in wheelchairs and pushchairs.

A small amount of roadside parking is available at Steadfolds Lane, this is not disabled specific but does give easy access to the north end of the trail, which lies about thirty metres from the parking.

It was funded by Yorkshire Forward and delivered by Sustrans and Rotherham Council.
