Horace Oswald Williams

Horace was born in Laughton-en-le-Morthen in October, 1921.

He began his career with Thurcroft Main Colliery before moving to Rotherham United in 1943.

He made about 206 league appearances for Rotherham and 10 cup appearances.

In about 1953 he lost his regular place and became player-manager for the reserve team.
