Steedman
Joseph Steedman was born in Retford, he married Matilda Crofts from Laughton-en-le-Morthen. They had five children:
They were living at Sawn Moor Cottage in 1901, Joseph was occupied as a Foreman at the farm next door.
Also living with the family was Matilda's mother Alice Croft who in 1901 was 77 years old.
