By 1901 Arthur Edward had married Emily Sophia Bell Born abt 1866, the daughter of John Thomas Bell of Wickersley.

Note: ¹Possible that Ann Mottram (Nee Shaw- wife of Thomas Mottram ) born 1776 is daughter of JOHN SHAW and ANN BOOKER(daughter of Daniel Booker) who married at Laughton En Le Morthen.

On Laughton Road there was a small Hardware store, next to Perrys shop/garage. It is now a bungalow and was recently extended. That shop was owned and run by George Mottram who was great grandson to Richard Mottram (son of Thomas and Ann Shaw). George was born at South Anston in 1923. He lived on Rowena Drive until he died in 1976.
