Robert Barker a Farmer was born in 1772 at Wales, he was the son of Robert and Ann(Nee Handley) Barker. He married Mary Beech on 26/11/1797, she was born in 1776/7 1776 at Harthill, daughter of Samuel. Children of Robert and Mary:
- Elizabeth Barker c. 20/6/1801 at Todwick. Married Paul Ardron
- Ann Barker c. 19/4/1798 at Todwick
- John Barker c. 10/2/1805 at Wales
John Barker was running Sawn Moor Farm in 1841.
